Well, she’s been here for a week now actually. I’ve been a little bit busy the past few weeks, but in short: My blood pressure readings were gradually going up the last few months of pregnancy, so my doctor decided we should induce at 39 weeks. On August 17, 2011 at 1:05pm Miss Kylie June came into the world weighing in at 7lbs 4oz, 20 inches long!
She’s already had her 1 week checkup and is back to birth weight (well, .5oz away from it). She’s eating great, sleeping wonderfully (knock on wood) and is as cute as a bug’s ear!
I’ll be posting her birth story soon and (hopefully) blogging more often now that life is slowing down a bit. She’s keeping us home more!
